Register a Renewable Energy Asset

1

Review Registry Operating Documents

The Registry Operating Documents should first be reviewed by the prospective registrant; the documents detail the requirements and definitions of different types of Renewable Generation Assets.

2

Register Asset

  1. Log in to your account and select the “Register New Asset” link.
  2. Fill out the information on the “Asset Registration” pages and press “Submit”.
  3. The Registry Administrator will then be notified of the pending Asset Registration and undergo the validation review.
3

Asset Review

The Registry Administrator will validate all details provided in the Asset registration application. If the Asset application is complete and approved, an email notification describing asset approval will be sent to the Account Holder. At this time an invoice will be issued for any applicable registration and subscription fees. If information is incomplete or additional information is required, the Administrator will notify the Account Manager.

4

TIGR Issuance

TIGRs can be issued as often as once a month if the metering data has been communicated to the Registry. An invoice will be due ahead of issuance and once payment is received, TIGRs will be released into the project developer’s account. Metering data must come from a Qualified Reporting Entity unless the asset qualifies under self-reporting measures which still require review by the Registry Administrator.
